Start a Todoist Business trial

Interested in starting a Todoist Business trial for your team? This gives you 14 days to try all the Business features for free. Check out the full list of features on the pricing page. 

Start your trial

1. Log in to Todoist at https://todoist.com. If you don't have an account yet, sign up and create a Todoist team.
2. Click your team name in the sidebar.
3. Click the gear icon at the top-right.
4. Select the Subscription tab. If there's no "Try Business for free" option, your team has already used its Business trial.
5. Click Start for free. You'll see a list of benefits for your team.
6. Click Try Business free for 14 days to confirm.
7. Select your preferred billing cycle and currency.
8. Click Get your free trial.
9. Enter your payment information to start the trial. 

Cancel your trial

If you no longer wish to continue using Todoist Business, here's how to cancel the trial:

1. Click your team name in the sidebar.
2. Click Settings at the top-right.
3. Select the Subscription tab below your team name.
4. Click Cancel trial. You'll see how many trial days you have left.
5. Click Cancel subscription.
6. Select the main reason for canceling the trial from the menu.
7. Provide more details about your reason for canceling your trial.
8. Click Cancel subscription. This opens a new window in your browser.
9. Click Cancel subscription. You'll see your plan type and the end of the billing period.
10. Click Cancel subscription to confirm.

Renew your trial

Thinking of giving Todoist Business another try? So long as you're within the 14-day trial period, you can renew your trial right away:

1. Click your team name in the sidebar.
2. Click Settings at the top-right.
3. Select the Subscription tab.
4. Click Renew trial. This opens a new window in your browser.
5. Click Renew subscription. You'll see your plan type and the end of the billing period.
6. Click Renew subscription to confirm.

Questions about Todoist Business trials

If my team is on the Business trial, will I be able to create a second team?

Yes, you can create a second team while your first team is on the Business trial.

What happens to my Pro plan if I decide to set up a Business trial?

If you have paid for Pro and you start a Business trial before using your full Pro time, your remaining Pro time will be added as credit in our system. However, please note that this credit can only be used to pay for Pro subscriptions.

What happens if I cancel my Business plan before the trial is over?

Your team will stay on the Business trial until the trial period is finished.

How many trials can each team have?

Each team can only go through one Business trial. Once a team's trial ends, you won't be able to start another one for that team. If you've created two or more Todoist teams, each team can start its own trial.
