Log in to Todoist with the same method you used when you created your account. This article walks you through logging in and out on every platform, what to do if you can’t get into your account, and where to find the fixes for the most common login problems.
Log in to Todoist
- Open the Todoist app.
- Click Log in.
- Choose how you want to log in to your account. It should be the same option you used to create your account.
- Enter the code from your authentication app, then click Verify. This step appears only if you’ve enabled two-factor authentication.
- Open the Todoist app.
- Click Continue in your browser.
- Choose how you want to log in to your account on the login page that opens in your browser. It should be the same option you used to create your account.
- Enter the code from your authentication app, then click Verify. This step appears only if you’ve enabled two-factor authentication.
- Click Open Todoist on the pop-up notification.
- Open Todoist for iOS.
- Choose how you want to log in to your account. It should be the same option you used to create your account.

- Open Todoist for Android.
- Choose how you want to log in to your account. It should be the same option you used to create your account.

Log out of Todoist
- Click your avatar in the top-left.
- Select Log out.
- Tap Browse in the bottom-right. On iPad, skip this step.
- Tap the gear icon in the top-right. On iPad, it’s in the top-left.
- Tap Log out.
- Tap Browse in the bottom-right.
- Tap the gear icon in the top-right.
- Tap Log out.
Advertencia:
If you have unsynced changes, Todoist shows Discard unsynced changes? before logging you out. Select Cancel and wait for the sync to finish, or those changes are deleted when you log out.
