After you've canceled your Todoist subscription, you could be eligible for a refund. When you cancel your subscription, your account moves to the Beginner plan. Learn what changes when you downgrade.

Monthly subscriptions

Monthly payments for Pro and Business plans aren't refundable when you cancel, unless a refund is required by consumer protection laws in your country.

If you cancel a monthly subscription, you'll be able to use the paid features until the end of the billing cycle. You won't be charged at the next renewal date.

Yearly Pro subscription

If you cancel your yearly Pro plan within 30 days of purchase or renewal, you're eligible for a full refund.

  3. Select Subscription.
  4. Click Cancel plan.
  5. Choose a reason for canceling. You can also share feedback on what we could improve.

If you're outside the 30-day refund window, you'll only see the option to cancel at the end of your billing period.

Via Google Play

If you purchased a yearly subscription through Google Play, first cancel your Pro subscription by following Google Play's cancellation instructions. Then contact us to request a refund for your yearly payment.

Via the App Store

If you purchased your yearly Pro subscription via the App Store, request a refund from Apple by following Apple's refund instructions. Apple doesn't allow any developers to process refunds for App Store purchases.

Via the Microsoft Store

Microsoft doesn't offer refunds for Microsoft Store purchases. You can learn more in Microsoft Store's Terms of Sale.

Yearly Business subscription

If you purchased a yearly Business subscription within the last 30 days, cancel your Business team first, then contact us to request a refund. Include your payment receipt or the order reference ID from your invoice.

Note

If you're not eligible for a Business subscription refund, you may have credit on your account after canceling your subscription. This credit isn't refundable.

FAQ

Can I get a refund for a yearly subscription after the 30-day window?

If you purchased your subscription through the Todoist website or Google Play, refunds for yearly subscriptions are only available within 30 days of the original purchase or renewal date. Requests made after this period aren't eligible.

If you purchased through the App Store, request a refund from Apple directly. Apple manages all subscriptions and refunds for App Store purchases.
