Todoist Assist is the name for our growing suite of AI-powered features designed to work behind the scenes to enhance your Todoist experience.

Yes, your privacy and security is our utmost priority. We run all of Todoist's AI functionality on our secure infrastructure to ensure your data stays protected within our environment. Plus, we only partner with providers who maintain strict data handling practices, and who have explicitly committed that data processed through their services will not be used to train their models.

Some basic Todoist Assist features, like Filter Assist, are available to all customers, while more advanced capabilities are included in our paid plans. Check our pricing page for the most up-to-date information.

Currently, the only feature powered by Todoist Assist that you can turn on or off is Email Assist. All other features are optional by design - you can choose to use them, or ignore them completely.
