Better teamwork rarely starts with a big process change. Sometimes it starts with opening a tab and finally seeing what’s actually going on.
Turns out you don’t need a complicated system. Just a clearer picture.
These updates give your team a real-time read on who’s working on what, how projects are tracking, and what’s been happening within the team.
People tab (Beta)
Until now, the only way to know how your team’s work was distributed was to ask around, check individual projects, or trust the mental picture you’ve been carrying around – which, as it turns out, is often wrong.
The People tab brings everything into one place. Who’s assigned what, who’s carrying a heavy load, and who might have more capacity. Admins also see overdue tasks across the team, so nothing gets missed.
Find it next to the Projects tab in your team workspace overview.

Insights
Your 1:1s were never supposed to be 40 minutes of “where are we on this one? And this one? And this one?”
Insights gives you a real-time health check for every project: how far along it is, where things are at risk, how the work is spread across the team. No setup, nothing to configure – it works from how your team already works.
Spot that one project that’s quietly falling behind, or the person who’s carrying significantly more than everyone else. So when you do sit down together, you already know. No status round. No surprises. Just the conversation you actually needed to have.
Insights is available on Todoist Business, across all platforms. Open any team project for a quick read on its health, or pull up the workspace overview to see how everything’s tracking at once.
Reporting (formerly Activity Log)
Reporting (formerly Activity Log) answers the question you didn’t want to have to ask: what’s actually been happening?
It lives in your sidebar, and it’s been reimagined for the web app. A cleaner layout, new filtering options, and presets that get you straight to what you’re looking for. Your completed tasks, activity across your favorite projects, everything the team shipped last week – it’s all there, ready to dig into.
Coming back from a long weekend? You’ll know exactly what happened while you were gone, all before your first coffee.
It exports to Markdown too – useful for weekly updates, meeting recaps, or putting it to work somewhere else.

Everything in one place
We put together a guide to walk you through all of it – four short videos, one per feature. Kaitlin, Marco, Dermot, and Denise each took one. Start wherever makes sense for your team.
